About your host Dr Naomi

Dr. Naomi Dongelmans is a general practitioner in The Netherlands, bestselling author, international speaker, coach, dancer and location manager of the caregiving organization ZorgMies Maastricht.

She researched Alzheimers Disease at Shiga University of Medical Science in Japan in 2005, and is the author of the bestseller book Reinvigorated Caregivers.

She was a carer for her mother as a teenager. Her mother had a rare form of kidney cancer. Naomi had 2 grandmothers with Alzheimer’s and guided many patients as a medical doctor. Despite the fact that there is a lot of information available on the internet, she noticed that patients and their carers are not able to find their way. They no longer see the trees in the forest…
